Participation in the international conference “PhysicA SPb 2016”" and joint experiments at the ITMO University

The delegation of the laboratory of biomedical photonics of Scientific-Educational Center "Biomedical Engineering" (Bachelor E.V. Zharkikh, magistrand I.O. Kozlov, post-graduate student and trainee-researcher V.V. Dremin and lead researcher A.V. Dunaev) has participated in the international conference «PhysicA SPb 2016" held at the Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences on 1-3 November 2016. The following reports were presented at the poster session:

• Zharkikh E.V., Dremin V.V., Filina M.A., Makovik I.N., Potapova E.V., Zherebtsov E.A., Zherebtsova A.I., Dunaev A.V.  “Application of optical non-invasive methods to diagnose the viability of the lower limb tissues in patients with diabetes mellitus” (diploma in the nomination "The best report”);
• Kozlov I.O., Zherebtsov E.A., Zherebtsova A.I., Dremin V.V., Dunaev A.V. “Investigation of Doppler Spectra of laser radiation scattered inside hand skin during occlusion test”;
• Van G.V., Podmasteryev K.V. “Algorithm for detection the QRS-complex based on support vector machine”.

In addition, experimental studies have been conducted at the department of computer photonics and videoinformatics as part of the scientific cooperation and implementation of the project RFBR №16-32-50144 “Study of the influence of capillaries morphology and blood flow velocity on the recorded endogenous fluorescence spectra of biological tissues” performed by young scientists (V.V. Dremin) under the guidance of PhD (N.B. Margaryants) and Doctors of Science in scientific organizations of the Russian Federation (ITMO University) in 2016.
