Victory in the competition “Start-SUV2016”

On the 2nd  and 3rd of June 2016, one of Europe's largest conference for young innovators, investors and venture business professionals - Startup Village-2016 was held in the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

 

 

This year, in addition to the main competition at the conference the final competition of the grant programm "START" of Innovation Assistance Fund was held, which has brought together several thousand applications from all over Russia since the 1st of  February 2016.

 

The finalists include 73 projects - the authors of the best projects Startup Tour 2016 as well as the overall selection of the contestants "Start", successfully passed the correspondence examination. For two days under the Startup Village Foundation of the promotion of innovation the expert jury chose the winners. Sampling was carried out in five areas: information technology, medicine of the future, advanced materials and technologies of their creation, new devices and hardware systems and biotechnology.

 

In this contest under the direction of "New devices and hardware systems" our "LaserLab" project was presented, which became the winner of Startup Tour 2016 in Tula. Developments had been successfully presented by research engineer of SEC "Biomedical Engineering", a graduate student at the Department of "Instrument making, metrology and certification" Irina Makovik.

 

 

  

 

According to the results of the final competitive selection the project was the winner and was appreciated by the members of the expert committee. The high development of scientific and technical aspects of the project, the design from a business perspective was noted. Also the high qualification of the team members was noted. Apart from the project "LaserLab", 33 projects from more than 20 regions of Russia became winners. Total volume of the grant funding was 65 million rubles.

 

 

Advisor of  the CEO of the Foundation for Assistance innovations Ivan Bortnik presented diplomas to the winners and wished them further success in the implementation of innovative projects.
