Participation in the VII International School and Conference on Photonics "Photonica 2019" (Belgrade, Serbia)

On 26-30 August 2019 trainee researcher of the Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics, a graduate student of the Department of Instrument Engineering, Metrology and Certification, Elena Zharkikh took part in the VII International School and Conference on Photonics Photonica 2019 in Belgrade (Serbia). The conference was attended by representatives of more than 80 countries.

During the Biophotonics section, Elena presented a poster entitled “Wearable laser Doppler flowmetry implementation for the analysis of microcirculation disorders”. The data presented were obtained in the framework of the RSF project No. 18-79-00237 on "Flexible sensor matrix for blood perfusion registration in wearable electronics". This work is carried out in collaboration with Aston University (Birmingham, UK) and SPE "LAZMA" Ltd. (Moscow, Russia). The presented scientific work was supported by the travel grant of the OSA association (The Optical Society). According to the results of the posters competition, the work presented by our student took the 2nd place prize among all the works submitted for the competition (in total, more than 90 posters were presented in the poster sessions).
