February 3, 2017 Student Chapter of the International Society for Optics and Photonics SPIE was opened in our university!

 

 

International Society for Optics and Photonics SPIE has actively supported talented students around the world, providing opportunities for professional development and education. Participation in the student office paves the way for scientific publications, participation in international conferences and communication with scientists around the world. Annually SPIE society provides a grant to support the activity of chapters, moreover, each year one member of the chapter has the opportunity to attend one of the conferences organized by SPIE society.

December 12, 2017, International Optical Society OSA Student Chapter was officially accredited in our university. It is based on Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics (along with already existing SPIE Student Chapter). Our OSA Student Chapter became the 12th in Russia!

Also Orel State University joined the consortium of universities in October 2016 and became a participant of the international project Erasmus + Capacity building in higher education 573555-EPP-1-2016-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP «Enhancement of Higher Education and Corporate Sector Integration in Accordance with New Social Environment». Development, implementation and integration of science, business with a new social environment allows the project's working group to involve student communities for joint work and realization of potential. The cooperation of students with the Erasmus + program allows getting new results, developing them and bringing to the next level the results of the work of the entire Erasmus + Orel group to the international level.

Student Chapters of Orel State University named after I.S. Turgenev closely cooperate with projects of Erasmus +.
