Seminar Analysis of the main scientometric indicators in the database

Office of Science and Technology organized a informational seminar in order to address the task of increasing international publication activity of scientists State University - ESPC.

It was discussed topical issues of preparation high-quality scientific articles for publication in leading international rating journals, as well as the use of available open access systems of international communication scientists.

A presentation was made associate PhD, leading researcher of the SEC "Biomedical Engineering" Andrey Dunaev.

We covered the following issues:

- the general analysis of the main scientometric indicators of State University-ESPC for the entire period of its existence;

- analysis of scientometric indicators of State University ESPC for 2014;

- analysis of scientometric indicators of Orel region;

- analysis of scientometric indicators of CFA universities;

- analysis of scientometric indicators of leading universities in Russia;

- analysis of scientometric indicators of leading universities in the world;

- ways of improving scientometric indicators of State University scientists: free access to the resources of the scientific community, such as Research Gate, Google Scholar, ORC ID, Researcher ID. 

More than 50 employees and graduate students attended the event. Topics covered in the report of Andrey Valerievich, caused a lively discussion, which continued in an informal setting after the end of the seminar.
