New publication in a high-ranking journal «Progress in Quantum Electronics»

As part of the implementation of the flagship university strategic project a new article "Non-invasive biomedical research and diagnostics enabled by innovative compact lasers" was published by a representative of Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics in co-authorship with leading biophotography scientists of Aston University (Birmingham, Great Britain) (Karina S. Litvinova, Ilya E. Rafailov, Andrey V. Dunaev, Sergei G. Sokolovski, Edik U. Rafailov) in the high-ranking journal “Progress in Quantum Electronics” (Q1 / IF 11.0).

The article is devoted to the review of the state of laser technologies used in biomedicine and various available approaches to their application in medical practice, in particular, due to the use of compact semiconductor lasers. Based on their own research, the article discusses the features of the simultaneous collection of physiological data using a multifunctional diagnostic system designed to optimize the new technology in clinical practice.
