Participation in the symposium "Topical Problems of Biophotonics – 2019"

Scientists of R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics of Orel State University (leading researcher, Ph. D. A.V. Dunaev and senior researcher, Ph. A.V. Mamoshin M.D.) took part in the International Symposium "Topical Problems of Biophotonics – 2019" (TPB-2019) organized by the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Nizhny Novgorod) and Privolzhsky Research Medical University (Nizhny Novgorod).

Representatives of our Center had oral talks presenting intermediate results of the RSF project No. 18-15-00201 “Clinical and experimental substantiation of multiparametric optical biopsy of hepatopancreatoduodenal zone organs for minimally invasive surgical operations” at the sections "Translational Biophotonics" and "Novel Technics for Biophotonics", respectively:

  • A.V. Mamoshin "Optical fine-needle aspiration biopsy for mini-invasive surgery";
  • A.V. Dunaev "Laparoscopic laser speckle contrast imaging for real-time mini-invasive surgery: animal studies".

Also, the poster with the results obtained in the framework of the RSF project No. 18-79-00237 on "Flexible touch sensor for the registration of capillary blood flow in the problems of wearable electronics" was presented:

  • A.I. Zherebtsova "Study of changes in blood microcirculation in normal and pathological conditions using wearable photonics devices".

Leading scientists in the field of biophotonics expressed their interest in the presented works and discussed the possibilities for further joint research.
