Successful presentation at the XXIII International School for Students and Young Scientists in Optics, Laser Physics and Biophotonics «Saratov Fall Meeting 2019»

September 23 to 27, 2019, Saratov National Research State University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky held the XXIII international conference "Saratov Fall Meeting-2019". The conference included the XXIII International School for Students and Young Scientists in Optics, Laser Physics and Biophotonics, which included lectures on "Modern Optics XVIII", "English as a means of communication in the scientific community XVIII". 

The conference and the scientific school was attended by students (Yu. I. Loktionova, K.Y. Kandurova, E.S. Seryogina and V.V. Shupletsov), as well as 3 PhD students (E.O. Bryanskaya, I.O. Kozlov and D.D. Stavtsev) working in Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics.

        

The team presented the results of Flagship University strategic project "University clinic of socially significant diseases" in the following presented at student posters competition:

- Yulia Loktionova, Elena Zharkikh, Evgeny Zherebtsov, Igor Kozlov, Viktor Sidorov, Angelina Zherebtsova, Sergei Sokolovski, Andrey Dunaev, Edik Rafailov. «Evaluation of parameters of microcirculatory blood flow structure by wearable perfusion sensors»;

- Ksenia Kandurova, Evgeniya Seryogina, Evgeny Zherebtsov, Elena Potapova, Viktor Dremin, Andrey Vinokurov, Andrian Mamoshin, Alexey Borsukov, Vadim Muradyan, Andrey Dunaev. «Verification of fine needle optical probe sensitivity to changes in NADH and fad fluorescence»;

- Andrian Mamoshin, Evgeniya Seryogina, Anastasia Krasova, Elena Potapova, Valery Shupletsov, Andrey Dunaev, Andrey Aladov, Anton Chernyakov. «Analysis of experimental surgical lighting parameters in organs in vivo»;

-  Valery Shupletsov, Dmitriy Stavtsev, Alexandr Stolbov, Elena Potapova, Victor Dremin, Andrey Vinokurov, Andrey Dunaev. «Tissue-mimicking phantoms for fluorescence imaging»;

- Ekaterina Bryanskaya, Roman Gneushev, Irina Makovik, Viktor Dremin. «Assessment of the signal level during digital diaphanoscopy of the maxillary sinuses by the Monte-Carlo method»;

- Dmitry Stavtsev, Mariya Mikhailova, Anna Koroleva, Elena Potapova, Nadezhda Malaya, Natalia Yakushkina. «The investigation of microvasculature in plaque psoriasis during therapy videocapillaroscopy and laser doppler flowmetry methods».

Igor Kozlov's oral report was also presented:

- Igor Kozlov, Evgeny Zherebtsov, Angelina Zherebtsova, Elena Zharkikh, Yulia Loktionova, Valery Shupletsov, Andrey Dunaev. «Blood perfusion oscillation analysis in frequency sub-bands of Doppler-broadened laser radiation spectrum».

The works were carried out with the partners from Orel Regional Clinical Hospital, SPE "LAZMA" (Moscow, Russia), Aston University (Birmingham, UK), University of Oulu (Oulu, Finland), MRI center "MEDISCAN" (Orel, Russia), art photonics GmbH (Berlin, Germany), STC Microelectronics and submicron heterostructures of RAS.

The presented works were supported by the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation for state support of young Russian scientists №MK-2634.2019.8, Russian Science Foundation grants №18-15-00201, №18-79-00237, Russian Foundation for Basic Research grants №17-41-590560, №18-02-00669, №19-32-90253 and grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation №14.604.21.0187.

According to the results of the posters competition, V.V. Shupletsov and E.S. Seryogina took 1st and 3rd places respectively. In general, the competition committee and the conference participants showed interest towards all the presented works from Orel.
