Interactive program "Young Astronaut Course" from scientists of the Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics

On April 27, an interactive program "Young Astronaut Course" was held on the basis of the Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics. A special guest of the program was pilot-cosmonaut , Hero of the Russian Federation Alexander Misurkin.

Alexander told about cosmonaut training, flight and types of experiments conducted on the International Space Station, and also answered questions from schoolchildren and students.

During the educational part, participants traveled to the Biophotonics galaxy, where they got acquainted with optical diagnostic methods in medicine. They learned about the scientific experiment "LAZMA" on board the International Space Station (in which the OSU named after I.S. Turgenev was a co-director).

After that, everyone could make experiments on advanced scientific equipment, and finally enjoy space food.

We are waiting for everyone at our next meetings!
