R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics

On the 11^th of July the regular webinar "The Evolution of blood microcirculation technology assessment: a view from the side of physicists and physicians" with the participation of experts from PSRL (Problem Scientific-Research Laboratory) “Diagnostic researches and miniinvasive technologies” SSMU and biomedical photonics laboratory of SEC "Biomedical Engineering" OSU named after I.S. Turgenev took place. 

Representatives of our university - the director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Engineering A.V. Pilipenko and the leading researcher of scientific-educational center "Biomedical Engineering" (SEC BME) A.V. Dunaev - took part in the roundtable discussion on the problems of the Russian-Chinese scientific and technological cooperation and the transfer of technologies on the Third Russian-Chinese Expo 2016 (Ekaterinburg, the 14^th of July 2016).

The delegation of our scientific-educational center, consisting of 2 bachelors (E.V. Zharkikh, G.V. Van) and a master degree student (I.O. Kozlov) participated and successfully reported at the 12th international scientific conference "Physics and radioelectronics in medicine and ecology". The conference was held from 4 to 7 July 2016 on the basis of the Vladimir State University named after Alexander and Nikolay Stoletovs.

On the  1^st of July  2016 the V-th Mid-Russian Economic Forum was held in the Kursk region. One of the projects of our Scientific-Educational Center was presented at this event.

The results of the competition  research projects carried out by young scientists under the guidance of PhDs in scientific organizations of the Russian Federation RFBR 2016 were summarized.

On the 4^th of June 2016 a collaborative seminar was held with the colleagues from the scientific research laboratory "Diagnostic researches and miniinvasive technologies" of Smolensk State Medical University.

On the 2^nd  and 3^rd of June 2016, one of Europe's largest conference for young innovators, investors and venture business professionals - Startup Village-2016 was held in the Skolkovo Innovation Center. This year, in addition to the main competition at the conference the final competition of the grant programm "START" of Innovation Assistance Fund was held. According to the results of the final competitive selection our project became the winner!

According to the record of the session № АС-7/05пр of the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science expert committee, Presidential Scholarships were appointed to the PhD students of the Orel State University named after I.S. Turgenev, to the staff members of our centre Dremin V.V.  and Makovik I.N.

As part of the V-th All-Russian Congress of Young Scientists colleagues from the Department of Computer Photonics and Digital Video Processing (PhD N.B. Margaryants, PhD M.V. Volkov) ITMO University on 4.13.16  together with the delegations of OSU (Biomedical photinic instrumentation group scientific-educational center "Biomedical Engineering") was proposed and conducted seminar on "Current issues of bioengineering: a non-invasive optical methods for the study of microcirculation".

The delegation of the Orel State University named after I.S. Turgenev, consisting of students of the specialization "Biotechnical Systems and Technologies" under the guidance of A. Dunaev, the leading researcher of scientific-educational center" Biomedical Engineering " successfully presented the results of their research work on the V-th All-Russian Congress of Young scientists.
