R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics

The combined team of PSU (State University-ESPC) and OSU participated in III-rd annual national exhibition “VUZPROMEKSPO-2015” on 2-4 December 2015.

November 26-28, 2015 in Nizhny Novgorod passed the semifinal of the competition “Young Innovator of the Year”. 140 out of 550 projects in five areas (clean technology, biomedical technology, information technology, instrumentation, special nomination) based on the results online-examination fought for the final.

From 17 to 19 November the fifth regional stage of the competition of youth innovation projects “Youth and science of the 21st century” (U.M.N.I.K.) took place on the basis of  “Prioksky State University” (State University – ESPC).

24-25 of October 2015 on the basis of Prioksky State University Science festival was held. It was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science in Russia since 2006. The initiator of the science festival in Russia was the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. This event was first held in our city.

Leading researcher of SEC «Biomedical Engineering», associate professor of  the Department of «Instrumentation, metrology and certification» Dunaev A.V. was invited as a speaker at the 3rd International Summer School «Photonics Meets Biology 2015» (28.09-2.10 2015 г., Greece, Crete). 

From 21 to 25 September 2015 an annual forum «Saratov Fall Meeting 2015» took place in Saratov State University. Researcher of SEC «Biomedical Engineering», collaborator of the Department of "Instrumentation, metrology and certification" E.A. Zherebtsov participated in the forum.

From 24 to 28 August 2015 graduate student of " Instrument engineering, metrology and certification" chair, trainee researcher of SEC "Biomedical Engineering" V.V. Dremin took part in an international scientific photonic school and conference «Photonica 2015» (V International School and Conference on Photonics) Belgrade (Serbia).

The team of our center, consisting of graduate students of the department "Instrument engineering, metrology and certification" Novikova I.N. and Dremin V.V., under a leading of researcher SEC "Biomedical Engineering" Dunaev A.V. attended and successfully reported at the X-th International Scientific Conference "Microcirculation and Haemorheology (Clinic and experiment: from the laboratory to the bedside)" held in Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named KD Ushinskogo from 5 to 8 July 2015. 

Team of scientific-educational center «Biomedical engineering» by leading researcher A. Dunaev take part and successful perform in 2nd international scientific symposium «Sense. Enable. SPITSE.» was held at the St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI" (Russia) from 22 June to 3 July.

The third largest in Eastern Europe, a start-up conference and the contest Startup Village is held in Innovation Center «Skolkovo» at 2-3 June 2015.
