Successful performance at the Russian competition of innovative projects “Young Innovator of the Year”

November 26-28, 2015 in Nizhny Novgorod passed the semifinal of the competition “Young Innovator of the Year”. 140 out of 550 projects in five areas (clean technology, biomedical technology, information technology, instrumentation, special nomination) based on the results online-examination fought for the final.

Our scientific and educational center “Biomedical Engineering” represented Oryol Region in this competition with a project “Development of biophotonics technology for non-invasive diagnosis of blood microcirculation disorders”. Our developments have been successfully reported by research engineer of SEC “Biomedical Engineering”, a graduate student of the department “Instrumentation, Metrology and Certification” Makovik Irina. The project was one of the best in the section “Biomedical Technology” and received the right to compete for the victory in the final of contest in 18 December 2015, where 45 projects will compete for 5 prizes places.

As part of the national competition Irina also participated in the “Regional consulting practice session” LOGA Group & Seed Forum International Foundation, where she received her practical skills of investment project presentation familiarized with the contemporary practice of development and commercialization of the results of the company.
