The establishing of OSA Student Chapter in our university

December 12, 2017, International Optical Society OSA Student Chapter was officially accredited in our university on the basis of R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics.

Participation in Young scientist Chinese-Russian Optics & Photonics Symposium “CROPS 2017”

November 27 – December 6, 2017, the Young scientist Chinese-Russian Optics & Photonics Symposium CROPS 2017 was held at ITMO University, St. Petersburg. The delegation of Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics took part in the work and co-organization of the symposium.

New publication in a high-ranking journal «Progress in Quantum Electronics»

A new article "Non-invasive biomedical research and diagnostics enabled by innovative compact lasers" was published by a representative of Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics in co-authorship with leading biophotography scientists of Aston University (Karina S. Litvinova, Ilya E. Rafailov, Andrey V. Dunaev, Sergei G. Sokolovski, Edik U. Rafailov) in the high-ranking journal “Progress in Quantum Electronics”.

Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics featured the diagnostic device in the VI Moscow International Forum "Open Innovations"

October 16-18, the VI Moscow International Forum "Open Innovations" was held at the Skolkovo Technopark. The exposition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation was one of the largest at the forum. Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics presented its product there.

Lecture of Professor Igor Meglinski, the leading scientist in the field of optics and biophotonic

October 11, 2017 as part of the implementation of the new program track "Biomedical Photonics and Electronics" of the technological master's program 12.04.04 "Biotechnical Systems and Technologies" the lecture of the head of the Optoelectronics and Measurement Techniques Laboratory at the University of Oulu (Finland), Professor Igor Meglinski was held.

The strategic project "National Scientific and Technological Center of Biomedical Photonics" is the best of the 10 in the MSM "SKOLKOVO"

October, 2-6 the team of the Orel State Universe named after I.S. Turgenev completed its training at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO under the program "Rector's School 11: Management Teams of Flagship Universities". The results of the work on the Strategic Project “National Science and Technology Center "Biomedical Photonics"” were made by the head of the scientific and technological center" Biomedical Photonics "Andrey Dunaev. This project team took the 1st place among 10 projects submitted by management teams of 9 flagship universities.

Victory in the poster competition at the XXI international conference "Saratov Fall Meeting - 2017"

The representatives of the Biomedical Photonics Laboratory of University Clinic attended the XXI international conference "Saratov Fall Meeting - 2017", which  includes the XXI International School for Junior Scientists and Students on Optics, Laser Physics & Biophotonics and the Symposium "Optics and Biophotonics 2017".

The team of Biomedical Photonics Laboratory of University Clinic (V.V. Dremin, I.N. Makovik, O.A. Stelmashchuk, A.V. Dunaev) took part in the work of the IV Summer School "Photonics Meets Biology" (September 19-22, 2017, Tarragona, Spain).

All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Frontiers in endocrinology”

Viktor Dremin, a researcher of Biomedical Photonics Laboratory of University Clinic, took part in the All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Frontiers in endocrinology” which was held on September 6-7 in St. Petersburg. 

New publication in Journal of Biomedical Optics

The biomedical photonics laboratory of the University Clinic team in close cooperation with Central Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics (Moscow, Russia), SPE "LAZMA" Ltd.Aston University (Birmingham, Great Britain), University of Oulu (Oulu, Finland), Yale University (New Haven, USA) published a new article "Multimodal Optical Measurement for the Study of Lower Limb Tissue viability in patients with diabetes mellitus" in the Journal of Biomedical Optics.
